I also have a tribe that i made, it's called "Lazy Tribe :P" in the game lol. There's no one on there yet. If you want to join it you'll have to get your monster to at least level 10 or 20.
I'd recommend you use shards to level your monster up. What i did to get lots of shards is get a bunch of Reebros on Ethereal island. Why Reebros and not any other single element monster? First it's because they're easy to get and they have a higher cap on shards rather Ghazt or Grumpyre. Second is because they're not standing so they don't block the view of other monsters like Jeeode or Humbug! I guess it's a minor incovenience(wow this word is hard to type x3) but when you have lots of monsters filling the island the problem kinda becomes more apparent lol.
